Maxxon Acousti-Top Adhesive 5 Gal
The High Compression Resistant Solution for Specialty Care Units is the suggested specification for a High-Strength Maxxon Underlayment over a Maxxon Acousti-Top sound control mat.

- Install over new or existing concrete, gypsum, or wood subfloors when topped with a gypsum underlayment.
- For glue-down installation, the dry Maxxon Underlayment must be sealed using Maxxon Gypsum Overspray before adhesive application
Installation Method
- The subfloor shall be structurally sound, fully dry, clean, and free of mud, oil, grease, dirt, dust, and other contaminating factors. Do not mix or dilute with water. The adhesive is ready for use directly from the pail. If Acousti-Top is installed over a Maxxon underlayment, the underlayment must be dry and sealed before adhesive application using Maxxon Overspray or Maxxon Acrylic. Roll 1/4″ nap roller, brush, or spray adhesive at a rate of 300 square feet per gallon. Apply the adhesive in 48″ wide strips and place the Acousti-Top into the wet or tacky adhesive and dry roll with a standard resilient floor roller to ensure 100% adhesive coverage below the mat. Minimizing working over the adhesive throughout the installation. Rough hollow core precast plank or rough concrete may require the Maxxon underlayment slurry coat attachment method. Isolation strips are installed around all walls, doorways, toilet collars, and other floor penetrations. Seams shall be butt jointed on thin pours or may be overlapped on pours thicker than 1/2″.
